Ram has officially unveiled two new sport truck variants for the Canadian market, expanding its heavy-duty lineup with the 2026 Ram 2500 Black Express and Warlock models. Both trucks will arrive at Canadian dealerships in the third quarter of 2025, giving customers new entry-level options in the growing sport truck segment.
The announcement comes as part of Ram's commitment to launch 25 new products over the next 18 months. These latest additions build on the brand's existing sport truck leadership, which already includes models like the Ram 1500 Rebel and Ram 2500 Power Wagon.
Black Express Brings Affordable Sport Styling
The 2026 Ram 2500 Black Express targets buyers looking for custom appearance at an accessible price point. Starting at $78,385 for the 4x4 model, the Black Express package adds $3,995 to the base Tradesman Crew Cab configuration.
Key features include a sport performance hood, body colour bumpers and grille surround, and distinctive 20-inch black wheels. The truck comes with class-exclusive power convex trailer-tow mirrors and black tubular cab-length side steps for enhanced functionality.
Inside, buyers get cloth bench seating, carpet floor covering with matching floor mats, and ParkSense front and rear park assist. The Black Express is available in both long bed and short bed configurations.
Warlock Returns to Heavy-Duty After 50 Years

The Warlock nameplate makes its heavy-duty debut for the first time since its introduction in the 1970s. Originally part of Dodge's D-Series lineup, Warlock returned to the Ram 1500 Classic in 2019 and now expands to the 2500 platform.
Priced at $78,885 (including the $4,495 package cost), the 2026 Ram 2500 Warlock focuses on off-road capability. The truck features:
- Black grille surround, fender flares, and bumpers
- Warlock bedside decal for distinctive identification
- 20-inch diamond cut wheels with 33-inch Goodyear Duratrac A/T tires
- Bilstein shocks tuned for on- and off-road use
- Anti-spin rear differential
- Hill Descent Control
- Transfer case skid plate
Proven Powertrain Options
Both models offer two engine choices paired with the TorqueFlite HD eight-speed automatic transmission. The standard 6.4-litre HEMI V-8 delivers 405 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can upgrade to the 6.7-litre Cummins High-Output Turbo Diesel, which produces 430 hp and 1,075 lb-ft of torque.
Ram's exclusive link-coil rear suspension system provides superior ride quality compared to traditional leaf spring setups. This system improves driver comfort and handling whether the truck is loaded or unloaded.
Colour Options and Availability
Both the Black Express and Warlock are available in eight colours: Diamond Black, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, Forged Blue, Flame Red, Ceramic Grey, and Molten Red. Some colours will have late or limited availability.
The trucks will be assembled in Saltillo, Mexico, and arrive at Canadian dealers in limited volume during the third quarter of 2025.
The 2026 Ram 2500 Black Express and Warlock represent Ram's strategy to offer sport truck options across multiple price points while maintaining the capability that heavy-duty buyers demand.
